Boardwalk Empire | THE GREEN GUIDE

Unlike Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire is unconcerned with using an historical framework to tell contemporary allegories about our lives. And although it delves deep into racism, classism, the folly of war and the realities of life as a woman in the early 20th century, it steadfastly resists the urge to distort these stories through a modern lens.
